Story Stars is a mobile application that creates personalised bedtime stories for children using artificial intelligence. The app is developed and operated by MV Developers (Thomas Hoffmann), based in Melbourne, Australia.

The app is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. By using Story Stars, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or that you are using the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

✅ Acceptable Use

You agree to use Story Stars in a manner that is lawful and respectful. You may not:

• Use the app to generate inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Use the app in any way that could harm or disrupt the service
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent

🤖 AI-Generated Content

Stories and audio narrations in Story Stars are generated by artificial intelligence (powered by Google Gemini and ElevenLabs). While we strive to ensure all content is age-appropriate and family-friendly:

• AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated story
• Parents and guardians should review stories to ensure they are appropriate for their child

We continuously work to improve content quality and safety. If you encounter any inappropriate content, please contact us immediately.

💳 Subscriptions & Purchases

Story Stars may offer in-app purchases and subscriptions. These are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across platforms. We do not directly collect or store your payment information.

📄 Intellectual Property

The Story Stars app, its design, branding, and underlying technology are the property of MV Developers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Stories generated through the app are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share stories with family and friends but may not reproduce, distribute, or sell them commercially.

In summary: all personal data is stored locally on your device, we do not maintain user accounts or databases, and we never sell your information to third parties.

• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the app in the preceding 12 months

The app depends on third-party services (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs) which may experience downtime or changes outside our control.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Story Stars at any time if you violate these terms or use the app in a manner we deem harmful or inappropriate.

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
