Story Stars collects only the information that parents or guardians enter into the app to personalise bedtime stories. This may include:

• Family members' names
• Pet names

All of this information is provided voluntarily by a parent or guardian — never collected automatically. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal contact information through the app.

We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies in the app.

The information you provide is used for one purpose: to create personalised bedtime stories for your child.

When you request a story, the details you've entered (such as names and ages) are sent to:

• Google Gemini API — to generate the story text
• ElevenLabs API — to generate audio narration of the story

This data is transmitted securely and is used solely for story generation. We do not use this information for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.

🔗 Third-Party Services

Story Stars uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API — for AI-powered story generation. Data sent is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• ElevenLabs API — for text-to-speech audio narration. Subject to ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — for managing subscriptions and in-app purchases. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store payment information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

🧒 Children's Privacy

Story Stars is designed for families with children and we are committed to protecting children's privacy in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All information is entered by a parent or guardian.
• We do not require children to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to personalise stories.
• We do not use children's information for behavioural advertising or profiling.
• We do not make children's information publicly available.
• Personal details used for story generation are not stored on our servers.

Parents and guardians have full control over the information entered in the app and can delete it at any time by clearing the app data or removing saved child details within the app.

If you believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove it.

💾 Data Storage & Security

All personal information you enter into Story Stars is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user databases or store your family's information on our servers.

When stories are generated, data is transmitted securely (via encrypted connections) to our third-party API providers and is not retained by us after the story is created.

You can delete all stored data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by deleting the app.
